James Burgon Valentine (né le 5 octobre 1978 à Lincoln (Nebraska) est un guitariste américain membre du groupe de pop rock Maroon 5.

James Valentine a joué dans divers groupes de sa ville natale, Kid Quarkstar, Mondello et Happy Dog. En 2000 ces derniers changent de nom. Rebaptisé Square, ils partent en Californie. Là-bas ils rencontrent les membres des Kara's Flowers, qu'il rejoindra plus tard lors de la formation de Maroon 5.

Ami du musicien John Mayer, il a contribué à l'album de ce dernier Continuum en jouant de la guitare sur les morceaux "Stop This Rain" et "In Repair".[réf. nécessaire] James Valentine a aussi participé à l'album de Jenny Lewis, Rabbit Fur Coat. Il apparait aussi dans son clip "Rise Up With Fist!".

Valentine a été élevé dans la religion mormone de l'Église de Jésus-Christ des saints des derniers jours et a trois sœurs et un frère.

Alexandra Tamposi (born November 17, 1989) is an American songwriter from West Palm Beach, Florida. She is best known for co-writing Kelly Clarkson's song, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," DJ Snake's "Let Me Love You" featuring Justin Bieber, and Camila Cabello’s "Havana" featuring Young Thug. "Stronger" became Kelly Clarkson's biggest commercial hit to date and earned multiple Grammy nominations including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Tamposi has written for many artists such as Beyoncé, The Chainsmokers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Christina Aguilera, Rozzi Crane, Demi Lovato, Ciara, Little Mix and One Direction. In 2019, she won BMI Pop Songwriter of The Year.

Tamposi appeared on the final season of The X Factor as vocal coach and mentor to Simon Cowell's team, working alongside groups Restless Road, Sweet Suspense, and winners Alex & Sierra. She worked closely with Alex & Sierra on their debut album, writing four songs with the duo.

She was featured on the Cedric Gervais single "Love Again".

She is the granddaughter of real estate developer Samuel A. Tamposi.
